NEW PRACTICAL & STYLISH PRODUCT RANGE, oh so cute... LAUNCHES IN JOHANNESBURG AT BABA INDABA
After a very successful launch at Baba Indaba Cape Town, Cape based company, oh so cute... will launch in Johannesburg at Baba Indaba from 22 to 24 October.
Says oh so cute…’s Managing Director, Nira Lincoln, “We have been overwhelmed by the positive response that our products have received since our launch in July. It is clear that our products have responded to a need that many new parents have, and we have filled a gap in the market.”
oh so cute… aims to ONLY produce everyday functional products that make parenting easier, whilst being stylish and practical.
At this stage, the range consists of three key products which are all machine washable and free from toxic substances and manufactured in Cape Town, making oh so cute… a truly “Proudly South African” brand.
· The oh so cute…Busy Bib is a wipe clean, waterproof long-sleeved bib. It has a handy pocket for catching spills, which flips open for easy cleaning, and is made from a soft, lightweight, breathable fabric offering comfort for any occasion. The neck closure is fully adjustable and it comes in various colours, sizes to suit children from 4 months to 4 years.
· The oh so cute… Perky Poncho is a waterproof rain poncho. This cute accessory for keeping kids dry is easy on and easy off and is made from a light, waterproof fabric and is currently available in sizes from 1 to 3 years.
· The oh so cute… Hush Hush Nursing Apron is a cosy cover for discreet breastfeeding. It has a bowed neckline, which keeps the fabric away from the baby’s face and allows eye contact. It is made from 100% cotton and comes in stylish patterns and colours.
Says Lincoln, when asked how she came about developing these products, “It’s the oldest, most clichéd story in the book! As a new mother, I became frustrated with the lack of practical, stylish products available in the market locally that could simplify my life so I started playing around with some ideas and designs and eventually created a few items myself, using my daughter, Sam, as a guinea-pig for testing these designs! When friends and family started asking where they could get these items for themselves, I realised that I may have found a gap in the market and so decided to take my designs further and get them produced professionally and on a large scale.”
Adds Lincoln, “At the moment, we have three products available for purchase at Kids’ Emporium stores nationwide or online at www.ohsocute.co.za, but we have a number of exciting new products still in the developmental stage that will soon be launched and, with a bit of luck, we should have some samples of these products available in time for Baba Indaba Johannesburg.”
oh so cute… is offering a 10% discount on all merchandise purchased at Baba Indaba Johannesburg from 22 to 24 October.
